Types of files
Flat Files
These files are designed with self-locking mechanisms with a flat clip attached to hold the papers. These files are again sub divided based on the various specifications. These files include Browne baby king flat, browne king flat, browne baby rigid flat, browne rigid flat, browne rigid extra edge flat.
Cobra Files
These files are designed with self-locking mechanisms with a cobra clip attached to hold the papers. These files contain a good thick spine to accommodate more number of files/ documents. These files contain spring as document holding tool and are very flexible. These help in tightly holding the papers and adjustments with files. These files are again sub divided based on the various specifications. These files include Browne king cobra, browne baby king cobra, browne baby rigid cobra, browne rigid cobra, browne rigid cobra extra edge.
Thick Files
These files are designed with self-locking mechanisms and the files are thick enough to hold the documents and papers. These files come in both flat and cobra clip attached. These files are again sub divided based on the various specifications. These include Browne baby cobra thick, browne baby punch less thick, browne baby ring thick, browne cobra thick – A4, browne punch less thick – A4, browne Ring thick- A4, browne cobra thick etc.
Lace Files
These files are designed with a cotton lace attached to hold papers. These are mostly seen in Government offices. These files are made with thick paper to ensure a better storage of the important files and documents. The files are punched and then filed into these files. The lace enables in adjusting the quantity of papers stored by just tying the lace. These files come in different variants and include Browne baby rigid lace file, browne rigid lace file, browne king lace file etc.
Folders
These are easily carry able files mainly meant for conferences, meetings and discussion boards where only important documents are carried. These folders contain flaps and dockets to store the important papers specifically meant for the event/ meeting. These folders are easy to store. These folders come in different variants specific for different occasions. These include executive folders, legal folders, conference folders and multi sized folders.
U/O Pads
These are ordinary files for urgent purposes to store the papers. These files comprise of flat bottom made of thick paper with two flaps attached and a cotton lace to tie the files. The files or papers are put on the flat bottom board, wrapped with the flap and tied with the lace. These files come with calico sideliners for extra protection of the files. The calico makes the file more tear resistant. These files come with or without calico. These files come in different colors providing an option to the customer to choose the color pattern of the files.
Box Files
These are files in Box types to accommodate more and more papers and extendable with increase in the number of filing papers. These Box Files come with two types of clips – ‘N’ and ‘O’ clips. These files are intended for storing more number of documents. These are used to file in more number of documents. These files come with sidelines to secure the document from damage in terms of wear and tear. These files comprise of thick boards for have high tear resistance.
File Wrappers
File wrappers are paper wrappers to wrap bunch of files/papers/documents. These are two sheets attached and folded at the center. These come with or without calico. These help to categories the files into categories as these can be used as distinguishers as well. These wrappers do not contain and clip. However, these wrappers contain holes punched at the top which help to tag all files. These wrappers come in different specifications based on the thickness of the paper used.
